English Ministry

“But I do not account my life of any value nor as precious to myself, if only I may finish my course and the ministry that I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the gospel of the grace of God.”

- Acts 20:24

Ministry Leadership Team (MLT)

The basis of the Ministry Leadership Team (MLT) is the biblical model for the church in 1Cor. 12:12; “Just as a body, though one, has many parts, but all its many parts form one body, so it is with Christ.”

The MLT cares for the well being of the people in the English Congregation through strategizing, planning, organizing, and executing respective ministry activities that would enable us to fulfill our vision of being “A Community where Christ Truly Reigns”.

The MLT is led by Rev. Samuel Tan, and it comprises the Worship Ministry (Wyman Hor), Word Ministry (Nicholas Low), Fellowship Ministry (Eunice Ng), Outreach Ministry (Eugene Ng), Prayer Ministry (Grace Khoo) Communication Ministry (Ng Yi En), Service Ministry (Sandy 师母), Recording Secretary (Hazel Kam), and Madeleine Ng who is currently on oversea assignment.

Worship Ministry

Worship is a response of our reverence for our Creator and God. The Worship Ministry seeks to bring people to the throne of God to worship Him. The central focus of our weekly services is to praise God and listen to the proclamation of God's Word together. Twice a year, the Worship Ministry organises 'Prayer and Worship' sessions, where people are brought into the presence of God to worship Him through songs, prayer and meditation.

Teaching Ministry

We love to see people immerse themselves in the knowledge of God and live out His wisdom in the various pockets of society. The Teaching Ministry seeks to enhance our knowledge and wisdom through regular study of God's timeless Word. Initiatives such as topical seminars help us understand the teachings of God in greater breadth and depth, while exploratory Bible studies help us dig in deep into topics that are not commonly explored. Do feel free to join us as we seek to understand God and His teachings!

Care Group (CG) Ministry

And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near." Hebrews 10:24-25

We are not called to be a lone ranger. We are the body of Christ (1 Cor. 12:27).

The CG Ministry aims to promote an environment and culture of meeting, sharing and caring for one another. Besides meeting up for CG time, we also have be congregation-level bonding activities and workshops to discuss topics or questions that we have today.

As we walk with God, let us walk with one another through life too!

Evangelism & Follow-up (E&F) Ministry

As followers of Christ, we desire to fulfill the Great commission (Mathew 28:18-20) to bring Glory and delight to our Heavenly Father. The evangelism ministry serves to empower, equip and encourage the church community to actively reach out and share the Gospel message to people around them. We aim to provide opportunities such as evangelistic services, social activities, interest groups and educational programmes so that people can have the opportunity to hear the Gospel message and know about God's love and plan for their lives.

Prayer & Communication (P&C) Ministry

Communicating with God is vital to knowing His will and entrusting our lives to Him. Prayer is a very powerful weapon that is wielded by believers. The Prayer Ministry equips and encourages all to pray faithfully and fervently in all circumstances.

The Communications Ministry provides frequent updates to the congregation, and supports the various ministries to share the goodness of Christ through creative and effective media.

Service Ministry

The Service Ministry supports the other ministries logistically where necessary. It oversees the planning,  preparation, and arrangement of the two church ordinances, i.e. Holy Communion elements as well as Baptism requirements.

Leadership Equipping & Application Program (LEAP)

The MLT will be conducting the Leadership Equipping & Application Program (or LEAP) that is designed to prepare our people for leadership (spiritual leadership) in a more systematic approach.

This LEAP aims to prepare and equip our people with fundamental Knowledge, Skill, and Attitude (KSA) on spiritual leadership.  It will provide the participants with the confidence and preparedness to take on ministry leadership roles and responsibilities in the church.

Broadly, it will consist of 2 segments:

a.  6 monthly study and discussion sessions on Spiritual Leadership based on the book by J. Oswald Sanders (Spiritual Leadership), and

b.    6 sessions on practical leadership training (Event planning & organizing, finance management, meeting management, church constitution, organisation & governance, etc.)
